The US National Academy of Science, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) awarded a U.S.-Africa Frontiers Fellowship to Bridget Kanini Mutuma, an ARISE Fellow (University of Nairobi), along with Prof Hee Jeung Oh (Pennsylvania State University) and Prof. Nicholas Kotov (University of Michigan-Ann Harbor). Through the US-Africa fellowship, Dr Mutuma undertook a two-week research visit in the United States of America.
